This is a free event for children ages 0-18 who are residents of
Maple Shade Township. The purpose is to provide the time
and opportunity to build the relationship between the police
department and the youth in our township.

Our 4th graders had an AMAZING day today! Thank you to our PTA and our fabulous phys ed teachers, Mr. Lehmann and Mr. Hagerthey, for organizing fun minute to win it games. The end of the day included the famous MW car parade-- Thank you, families, for helping us send your kids out in style! Next stop... Steinhauer!
On Wednesday night, under the twinkling stars, our AMAZING Basic Skills teachers transformed the school gymnasium into a magical camping wonderland! Families and students embarked on an unforgettable journey filled with discovering Firefly Words, S’more’s Math, Camping Bingo and stories around the campfire . It was a great night of learning and fun!
Wildcats on Wheels was so much fun! Thank you to Mr. Colton Pontano, our Burlington County Toys for Tots Youth Ambassador, for donating 10 brand new bikes for our raffle! Students and families learned about bicycle safety, completed an EGG-speriment to build a safe helmet for their egg, and lots of happy kids left with new bikes! Thank you all for joining us for a great night of Learning and Playing Together!
Today Mr. Ormsby became a HUMAN SUNDAE! Four students from each homeroom added ice cream, chocolate syrup, jimmies, and whipped cream right on top of his head! Mrs. Cray and Mrs. Uibel eagerly added a cherry on top for the final touch! We are so proud of our students for crushing our read-a-thon goal this year! Way to go, MW readers!
The writers in Mrs. Dappolone's second grade did an amazing job presenting their explanatory essays! We are so impressed with their hard work and great writing!

Our Read-A-Thon participants cashed in their sweet treat coupons today and took a trip to the custard stand! Thank you to all who participated in this fundraiser. We raised over $7,000 for our PTA to help support our student field trips this year!
We are YETI for some winners! Today, our Read-A-Thon winners received round one of their prizes! Don't forget to keep reading and to wear something with an animal tomorrow for Read Across America spirit week! We are WILD about reading at Maude Wilkins!
Thank you to all of our staff and students who came out to support our team in the Maude Wilkins vs. Yocum volleyball game. We had so much fun playing and hearing our students and families cheer for us! Congratulations to our Yocum friends on their victory!

Dear Maple Shade Families,All afternoon activities at all schools will be cancelled today Jan 16th. The YMCA will still be open until normal time. If we should have another morning delay, the YMCA will not run a morning program, but will be open in the afternoon.
